Congratulations Competition Winner, by Rachel Hamilton

louie competition

To celebrate the launch of ‘Unicorn in New York II: Louie Takes the Stage’ (the second book in my ‘Unicorn in New York’ series) I ran a competition across Girls Heart Books, Facebook and a local book seller, offering readers the opportunity to name a character in the third book in the series, ‘Unicorn in New York III: Louie in a Spin’.

To enter, people simply had to share or like one of the posts announcing the competition and write their chosen name in the comments section. All those entries were gathered together and my daughter drew the winning name last night.

So the name of the character will be ….

<drumroll>

tulip louise

Thank you to Nicola Gregson for entering Tulip Louise’s name.

I said the winner would be chosen by prize draw, and so they were. But I couldn’t forget Sarah Hodgson‘s entry, asking for a character to be called ‘Kayla after my daughters friend who died aged 13′. I’d like to include Kayla’s name too, so Sarah, if you get in touch and let me know her surname, she’ll be included in the story as well.

As always, thank you for your support and I hope you enjoy Louie in a Spin when it comes out.
