You might have seen that I’m getting ready to publish a brand new series next March – Completely Cassidy: Accidental Genius will be out on 1st March 2015!
The books are all about a girl called Cassidy who is searching for her special talent, the thing she is really, REALLY good at. So she is always trying out new stuff, often with disastrous consequences. And I thought it might be nice to have a little giveaway, with some crafty Christmas treat I found.
If you’d like to win*, all you have to do is add a comment below by 5pm on Friday 19th December telling me what your special talent is. It can be something big or little and I’ll pick a winner at random. And to get you started, I’ll tell you my special talent: I can lick my own elbow. Try it – it’s harder than it sounds!

I can bend over backwards! (But getting back up elegantly is a bit more difficult).

i dont think i do anything that special really. boring i know. my party trick used to be that i would play hotel california on the guitar. my then boyfriend would play the solo on the same guitar.

But playing the guitar is an AMAZING talent! I wish I could play an instrument.
I’d like to hope that my special talent is writing, but I can also balance books on my head (which, you know, is an incredibly useful skill)!
Writing is the best special talent there is 🙂 But balancing books on your head is pretty cool too and useful for all sorts of things. I might try that over Christmas…
I can read upsidedown! I found this out by deciding to do a handstand against a wall with a book below me and I read the blurb of ‘little women’!
